SRTA closes key street in Al Juraina temporarily

SHARJAH: The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced the temporary closure of the Mohammed Bin Musa Al Khwarizmi Street in the Al Juraina area, near University Hospital.
This is part of a project to improve traffic flow and efficiency in the area.
The SRTA explained that the closure would begin on Friday, October 10, 2025, and continue until Sunday, 12 October 2025.
The work will involve a series of engineering improvements to upgrade the road's infrastructure and accommodate the area’s increasing traffic volume. The authority confirmed that the project would be completed by work teams to the highest quality and safety standards, and as quickly as possible, in order to minimise any impact on road users.
