SCI launches Dhs150 million Ramadan charity campaign

Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has launched its Ramadan drive "Jood 2026" to spend Dhs150 million on a number of charity projects including Iftar meal, helping needy people besides other charitable projects.
A new mobile application was also unveiled marking a step that reflects its commitment to keeping pace with technological advancement and enhancing the quality of services provided to donors and beneficiaries.
In this regard a press conference was held at House of Wisdom, Sharjah and attended by Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Charity International, and Sheikh Saud Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Department.
The event also attended by members of the Board of Directors, Executive Director Abdullah Sultan Bin Khadem, a number of sector heads and department directors, as well as representatives of local media outlets.
