The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects a slight rise intemperatures over the next four days, with a chance of light fog formation, due to the UAE being affected by an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east and a high-pressure system from the west, accompanied by an extension of a weak upper-level low-pressure system.

According to the NCM, the lowest temperature recorded in the country was 6.4°C on Jabal Mbarrah in Ras Al Khaimah at 2:45pm on Wednesday.

The NCM forecasts that Thursday's weather will be generally clear and partly cloudy at times, with a slight rise in temperatures, and humid at night and on Friday morning, with a chance of fog or light fog in some coastal and inland areas.

Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active, with speeds ranging from IO to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
