RAK Police arrest four over car racing

Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested four drivers for racing in one of the emirate's areas, impounded their vehicles and applied strict regulations against them as their serious violation posed a threat to the safety and lives of others.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrol Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, a report was received about a number of vehicles racing each other on a street in the area.

Based on this, the racing vehicles, which numbered four, were identified and monitored using Ras Al Khaimah Police's smart city systems and modern technologies.
