Rain on separate areas for second day in a row

ABU DHABI: Drizzles to moderate rain fell on Monday on separate areas across the country for the second day in a row, while the coastal and inland areas experienced fog formation and poor horizontal visibility, which did not exist sometimes for 3 hours from 6am until 9am.

The rain fell on Abu Al Abyad island, western Mushairef, Al Bahrani island, Saadiyat island, Industrial City of Abu Dhabi, Madinat Zayed, Khalifa City, Shakhbout City, Mohamed Bin Zayed City and Musaffah in Abu Dhabi; Al Mirfa, northwestern Asab, Habshan, Abu Qareen, Um Laila and Al Ruwais in Al Dhafra Region; Al Khazna in Al Ain; Al Qulai’a in Sharjah; and Al Hamraniya, Wadi Shaam and Wadi Gada’ah in Ras Al Khaimah. The lowest temperature of 12.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 5am on Monday.
