Rains are expected to fall on Friday and to continue for four days as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a weak surface low-pressure system accompanied by the extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Today's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, turning into cloudy at night and on Saturday morning in the islands and coasts with a chance of rains. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at IO to 20 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
