The Bajaur residence of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Tribal Affairs and Member of the National Assembly Mubarak Zeb was targeted with a rocket in the wee hours of Saturday, police said.

- Tariq Butt

Last month, an improvised explosive device (IED) had detonated outside the residence of Zeb, partially damaging the house.

Bajaur District Police Officer Waqas Rafique said that the rocket was fired at the residence of Mubarak Zeb in Bajaur. “However, it struck his neighbour's house, resulting in damage to the premises walls and gate,” he added.

The special assistant confirmed the attack in a post on X as well, adding that there were no casualties in the attack. DPO Rafique added that there were no human casualties.
