Ministers and educators to attend RSS workshop

Even while Kerala Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar is tightening his grip on the higher education sector in the state, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological mother of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is hosting a four-day educational summit here from Friday (25 July) to discuss Indianisation in education and implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
According to organisers, over 300 top educationists, including vice-chancellors, academicians, and education ministers from states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Puducherry, will attend the national conference in Kalady, near Cochin International Airport. The conference is organised by the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, an educational wing of RSS.
