Kerala governor to meet VCs over academic year plan review

The newly appointed Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has convened a meeting of university vice chancellors at the start of new academic year to review and address pressing concerns in the state's higher education sector.
The meeting of vice-chancellors of all 14 state universities is scheduled for 17 June (Tuesday) at Raj Bhavan. This meeting is expected to focus on both current challenges and future initiatives aimed at improving academic quality in Kerala universities. Vice Chancellors will be asked to share their views on the issues affecting the academic sector and the student community and to suggest measures for improvement. Arlekar also plans to gather detailed inputs on preparations for the new academic calendar and examination schedule.
