Hit Show steals show, bags $12 million Dubai World Cup

Hit Show lit up the Meydan Racecourse with a dazzling late surge, capturing the Group I $12 million Dubai World Cup in breathtaking fashion.

Representing Wathnan Racing, the five-year-old son of Candy Ride wove his way through a wall of contenders, launching an irresistible run to collar the brave front-runner Calumet Farm's Mixto in the final strides.

After the race, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the winners.

In his post on platform X, Sheikh Mohammed wrote: "An extraordinary night at the Dubai World Cup, with the participation of the top 100 horses from around the globe, along with the best jockeys and horse owners from all five continents.
