Father fined Dhs3,000 after son threatens man via Snapchat

The Al Ain Court for Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Cases has ordered a father to pay Dhs3,000 to a man after his minor son sent threatening messages via the social media platform Snapchat.
The case dates back to the time when a man filed a lawsuit demanding Dhs50,000 in compensation for moral damage caused by another man's son. The plaintiff stated that the minor had sent him messages containing threats and insults through the Snapchat app.
