Elderly Gazan thanks UAE President, family for help

In a viral video clip shared by the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ account on the X platform, an elderly Gazan, Salim, expressed his gratitude to the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Salim appeared with thin arms and legs, and a chest where his ribs were visible from extreme hunger.

Footage shows UAE aid workers carrying bags and boxes of aid supplies into Salim's tent.

They contain all kinds of vegetables and fruits available in the market, along with flour, oil, and other essentials.

An aid worker was seen feeding Salim by hand.

Salim told the relief worker, “I extend my thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and his family, and to the people of the UAE. I offer them my gratitude and respect. May God bless you, Your Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, your people, your country, and your loved ones.”

Operation Knight 3 intervened to provide support to Salim from the Gaza Strip who was suffering from the malnutrition.

The necessary aid was provided to alleviate his suffering amid the harshness of hunger and deteriorating health.

In alignment with its commitment to providing assistance to Gaza, the UAE on Saturday carried out its 67th humanitarian airdrop over the Gaza Strip as part of its “Birds of Goodness” initiative under the wider Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
