Dance To The Music returns to a straight course as she searches for a first G1 win in the Fillies' Mile, highlight on day one of the Dubai Future Champions Festival at Newmarket on Friday.

Dance To The Music back on familiar beat in Gı Fillies' Mile

The full-sister to Space Blues made a bright start to her career with a length success at the same course on her debut for Charlie Appleby in May and impressed again with a rallying success in the G3 Sweet Solera Stakes on Newmarket's July Course.

She returns to the Rowley Mile after finishing strongly to take fourth in last month's G1 Natalma Stakes in Canada, when a slow start and the tight inner turf course at Woodbine counted against her.

Charlie Appleby said: “Dance To The Music lacked the experience for the tight track at Woodbine, although she came out of the race well. She had done little wrong before that run and we felt that she deserved her chance here. We have a bit to find with a few of the field, but she goes into the race in great shape and should be a competitive runner.”
