Court orders woman to pay another Dhs164,000

The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, and Administrative Cases Court has ordered a woman to pay another Dhs159,000, in addition to a compensation of Dhs5,000. The case dates back to when a woman borrowed another's car, which was involved in a traffic accident caused by the defendant, according to the Saeed report.

The accident resulted in the car being written off.

In the details, the plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the defendant, demanding Dhs160,000 for the value of the car and Dhs140,000 as material and moral compensation for the destruction of her vehicle, which was written off from the traffic registry. She also requested legal interest, court fees, and attorney fees.
