Confident Al Hilal wary of Fluminense challenge, Pedro set for Chelsea debut

Al Hilal FC might be riding on a wave of confidence but they will not take Fluminense lightly in their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarterfinal on Friday.
The Saudi Arabia side's confidence is high after eliminating English Premier League side Manchester City with a dramatic 4-3 win in the Round of 16 on Monday and they will expect to produce the same commitment and passion against the four-time Brazilian champions.
Brazilian Marcos Leonardo, whose two goals against City included the winner in extra-time, knows Fluminense's pedigree, with the former Santos FC forward highlighting their win against Italy's Inter Milan 2-0 in the Round of 16.
"We're taking it game by game, next up: the quarterfinals," he said. "There are no easy games. We're going to face a great team. If God wants us to reach the semis, we will."
Leonardo could have a new strike partner, with Moroccan Abderazzak Hamdallah having joined on loan from fellow Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab with Aleksandar Mitrovic still recuperating and Salem Al Dawsari ruled out with a hamstring issue.
Fluminense, under the guidance of head coach Renato Gaucho, will definitely pose a tough challenge.
