CBI books Kerala CM's official in wealth case

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a case against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's Chief Principal Secretary, KM Abraham, for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, while he served as Additional Chief Secretary during the tenure of chief minister Oommen Chandy.

The FIR will soon be filed at the CBI Court in Trivandrum against Abraham, who is the former chief secretary and now Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and the CEO of the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).
Based on a petition filed by activist Jomon Puthenpurackal, Kerala High Court had directed the CBI to register case against Abraham.
