Budget session provides govt, PTI opportunity to ease tensions

The ongoing federal budget session of the National Assembly has provided an opportunity for informal interaction between the government and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) for initiation of structured dialogue, said a report.
Citing sources familiar with the developments, the report said that informal engagements have been taking place between PTI and its allies’ representatives, particularly Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, and key government figures like Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Asif and Azam Nazeer Tarar.
