Al Waseef Group contributes Dhs2m to campaign

Al Waseef group announced a contribution of Dhs2 million in support of the Edge of Life campaign to rescue five million children from hunger, launched in Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the aim of raising a minimum of Dhs1 billion to be invested in helping fight childhood hunger around the world.
The Edge of Life campaign to rescue five million children from hunger builds on the vision of Sheikh Mohammed, which prioritises the fight against hunger and integrates it as a key pillar of many of the initiatives and projects His Highness sponsors.
The campaign is organised in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and Action Against Hunger, aims to introduce sustainable food solutions and protect children from hunger.
