28 young DEWA employees explore Union milestones
Gulf Today
|December 03, 2025
The Youth Council of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organised an educational visit to the Etihad Museum for 28 young male and female employees.
-
The visit coincided with the UAE's celebrations of the 54th Eid Al Etihad and Dubai's National Month, which aims to coordinate events taking place in Dubai to commemorate national occasions from Flag Day on 3 November to Eid Al Etihad on 2 December 2025.
It reflects DEWA’s commitment to promoting national identity and strengthening a sense of belonging among youths.
During the tour, employees learnt about the key historical milestones in the formation of the Union and explored the museum's collections, documents, photographs and archival materials that chronicle the UAE's establishment and the achievements that paved the way for its ongoing development.
Aysha Mohammad Alremeithi, President of DEWA's Youth Council, emphasised that the visit supports DEWA’s efforts to consolidate belonging and loyalty to the nation, and to deepen young people's connection to authentic Emirati values, in line with the Emirati National Identity Strategy.
Alremeithi added that such initiatives raise awareness of the UAE’s history and cultural heritage, while consolidating the national values that form a key pillar of the country’s development and progress.
