IIT Kanpur director blames it on low moisture content

The much-anticipated attempt to induce artificial rain through cloud seeding over Delhi on Tuesday turned out to be “not completely successful,” with scientists blaming insufficient moisture in the clouds.

IIT Kanpur, which is leading the experiment with support from the Delhi government, said another attempt would be made when conditions improve.
