Son of worker killed in company bus accident seeks compensation

My father died four months ago in an accident while on his way to work in the company bus, which was insured. We requested compensation from the insurance company, but the claim was rejected on the grounds that my father’s employer (the insured) did not include employees in the insurance policy. Do I have the right to claim compensation in this case?
