How to get residence visa for your parents

If you earn a salary of Dh10,000 per month and have a valid Ejari (rental contract) for a twoor three-bedroom apartment, you can sponsor a residence visa for your parents to live in Dubai.

Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) and typing centres have specified documentation and the application process to sponsor parents.

Apart from meeting the salary and accommodation criteria, you will need a birth certificate proving the relationship, attested by your country’s consulate and UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Arabic.
