PROJECT AIMS TO REDEFINE FUTURE OF GLOBAL AVIATION

Dubai's ambitious $35 billion Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) expansion project is charging ahead, receiving significant, parallel financial commitments from both UK Export Finance (UKEF) and Emirates, confirming strong international and local confidence in Dubai's long-term aviation and economic vision.

The project, which aims to redefine the future of global aviation and serve 150 million passengers annually by the early 2030s with a longer-term capacity of 260 million travellers, received a major international boost at Dubai Airshow 2025 as UKEF issued a $3.5 billion Expression of Interest letter to support UK business participation.
