66% of Saudi employees ready to jump ship as jobs abound

Saudi Arabian workplaces will face a fluid situation this year, with a sizeable number of employees seeking “change”.

According to the latest jobs report by consultancy Hays, as many as 66 per cent of professionals in the Kingdom plan to switch jobs — primarily due to dissatisfaction with their current salary or benefits packages. These employees are likely to find new opportunities with better pay, given the robust state of the Saudi hiring market.

Booming jobs market

“The employment market across Saudi Arabia is booming,” said Mark Paul, Senior Manager at Hays Middle East. “Reflective of this year’s trend, 79 per cent of employers say they will be recruiting employees on a permanent basis.”
