WHAT began as a lighthearted request about the timing of people decorating for Christmas brought on the giggles for Peter Levy.

A comment by the BBC Look North presenter had him in fits, when he realised what he had said, and the reaction has gone viral.

Asking people to get in touch about when they put their Christmas tree up, Peter told viewers: "Mine's only a small one, but it did go up this weekend."
