FOLLOWING the news that a new contractor has been appointed to finish Corporation Bridge, you had your say on our Facebok page.

Christopher Binns: This little bridge is taking longer to complete than painting of the Forth Rail Bridge in Scotland. That is never finished.

Gray Bryan: It would be good to know what, if anything, has been completed. Don’t care if it not painted the same colour or if the thing can go up, is it structurally safe so traffic can cross?

Matthew Matt Matty Walton: Have they auditioned the new contractor this time and gone through the correct tender process or is it just someone they know?
