Solid success McCann winner sees off play-off contenders

STEVE Cotterill was proud of his Forest Green Rovers side after they secured a 1-0 win against fellow play-off challengers Oldham Athletic in the National League.
A first-half goal from Charlie McCann was enough to ensure Rovers won their final home game of the regular campaign.
"I just thought it was a good performance by the lads, we played really well," Cotterill said.
"We could have had a few more goals with a bit more luck and composure. Other than that, I thought they were all first-class."
Rovers were ahead on the stroke of half-time when Joe Quigley found Charlie McCann for a great finish to bring up his 11th goal of the National League campaign.
"Joe was outstanding, he is one strong guy that is for sure, he was first class. He is a big and strong boy, it was a tough game for him, but it is certainly going to be a tough game when you are up against him."
