Glenwood House School has once again affirmed its reputation for academic excellence, character formation and holistic education with an outstanding set of Independent Examinations Board (IEB) matric results for 2025.

The school proudly achieved a 100% pass rate, with 98% of its candidates qualifying for bachelor degree admission, reflecting both academic rigour and purposeful preparation.

The Class of 2025 recorded an average van 3.07 distinctions per student, an impressive overall grade average of 74.76% and strong aggregate outcomes across the cohort. Thirty-eight percent of students achieved an A aggregate, while 75% of the class attained above 'n B aggregate, highlighting both high achievement and depth of performance across the year group.

One notable aspect was how well the school performed compared with the national IEB averages.

The subjects that were well above die national averages include accounting, Afrikaans first additional language, business studies, computer applications technology, engineering graphics and design, English home language, geography, history, information technology, life orientation, life sciences, mathematical literacy, mathematics, physical sciences and visual arts. This breadth of excellence underscores the strength of Glenwood's teaching staff and the consistency of its academic standards.
