Scholar devoted to indigenous cow conservation
First India Jaipur
|June 10, 2025
Bhanu Pratap Sharma, a top scholar from Delhi University North Campus, turned down high-paying international job offers to dedicate his life to the protection and promotion of indigenous cow breeds.
Known across the Mewat region as a passionate “Gausevak” (cow caretaker), Bhanu was a school topper and completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from DU North Campus. Just as he was preparing for a Ph.D., he chose the path of service over luxury, inspired by a divine calling.
