To expand branches and promote corporate salary accounts
-
AT THE ANALYST meet, Axis Bank has reiterated that its strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing deposits are yielding positive results, marked by a significant increase in wealth clients, corporate salary accounts, and a rise in the share of lendable and retail deposits. The bank anticipates minimal impact from the RBI's cautious stance on unsecured and NBFC loans and perceives no immediate requirement to raise additional capital. Notably, the bank's asset quality remains stable, and it is expected that the ROE of 18% can be sustained. We hold Axis among our top picks as the franchise is getting stronger & valuation is reasonable.
Drive for customer obsession'.
