Urban governance key focus area of upcoming reviews
THE COMPTROLLER AND Auditor General (CAG) of India, K Sanjay Murthy, on Sunday announced a fresh set of nationalaudit priorities centred on improving “Ease of Living” across 101 cities, alongside key reviews in MSME facilitation, primary education and multi-modal logistics, with a special focus on the Indian Railways.
The initiative seeks to align audit efforts with India’s long-term development goals and evaluate progress in areas directly affecting citizens’ daily lives, business efficiency, and logistics competitiveness.
