THE ANNUAL PASS for highway tolls will hit the revenues of highway operators by as much as 8%, according to rating agencies.
Last week, the government announced the launch of an annual pass that will allow private vehicles a free passage through toll plazas on national highways and expressways from August 15. The pass that will cost ₹3,000 will be valid for 1 year or 200 trips, whichever is earlier.
