Tata Power net profit rises 9% to ₹1,060 cr

BEATING ANALYSTS' ESTIMATES by a narrow margin, Tata Power on Friday posted a 9.2% growth in profit at ₹1,060 crore in Q1FY26 as compared to ₹971 crore in Q1FY25. Sequentially, profits grew 1.6%. Analysts had predicted a profit of ₹1,022 crore.
The company beat analysts' estimates on the revenue front also, posting a growth of 4.3% in its revenues at ₹18,035 crore in Q1FY26 as compared to ₹17,294 crore in Q1FY25. Analysts had estimated revenues of ₹17,866 crore.
The company's EBITDA went up 15.4% to ₹4,139 crore in Q1FY26 as compared to ₹3,587 crore in Q1FY25.
