GRASIM INDUSTRIES, THE flagship firm of Aditya Birla Group, on Monday reported a 40% fall in its net profit to ₹899 crore during the October-December quarter, as compared to ₹1,514.4 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The company's revenue from operations was, however, up 8.8% to ₹34,792.9 crore.

Its consolidated Ebitda fell 9% to ₹4,668 crore, the company said.
