There's no evidence to suggest pilot downed plane: US expert

US AVIATION EXPERT Mary Schiavo has rejected claims that human error led to the Air India crash in Ahmedabad, which left 260 people dead.
A report by WSJ has claimed that the cockpit voice recordings (CVRs) suggest that Captain Sumeet Sabharwal cut off the fuel supply.
"There is no evidence of this," Schiavo told financialexpress.com. "There was an ANA (All Nippon Airways) flight in 2019 in which the 787 aircraft did this itself, while the flight was on final approach. No pilot input cutting off the fuel whatsoever," she said.
