Economy resilient despite global issues: RBI bulletin

INDIA'S ECONOMY CONTINUES to hold up against a global flux, dealing with the impact of geopolitical tensions and trade uncertainties, the Reserve Bank of India said in its monthly bulletin released on Wednesday.
"Despite global uncertainties, the Indian economy remains largely resilient, supported by strong macroeconomic fundamentals," the RBI said in its 'State of the Economy' article.
Easing inflation, improving kharif season prospects, front-loading of government expenditure, targeted fiscal measures and congenial financial conditions for faster transmission of rate reductions should support aggregate demand in the economy, going forward, it said.
