● Under-recovery on LPG sales hits revenue growth
STATE-OWNED INDIAN OIL Corp on Monday reported a fall of 76.7% in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of this financial year at ₹2,147.35 crore from ₹9,224.85 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
In the second quarter of the current financial year, the company had registered a loss of ₹448.78 crore. The decline in the company's net profit can be attributed to the under-recovery made on the sale of LPG cylinders and weak product cracks.
