‘New visa rules mean love is only for the rich’

A MOTHER of three has warned that the right to fall in love with a foreigner is something that only rich people can have as Home Office visa changes threaten to separate her family.
Those who face uncertainty under the new rules — which will see the salary requirement for expats returning to live in UK with their foreign spouse increase from £18,600 to £38,700 by spring 2025 — will present petitions with more than 250,000 signatures to Downing Street today.
