Sedgmen fired up for a return to the Monarchs
Edinburgh Evening News
|December 10, 2025
Justin Sedgmen believes the Edinburgh Monarchs' team structure will help the club progress further in 2026.
The Capital outfit elected to build a more solid 1-7 last season with no out-and-out No.1, Sedgmen himself starting the 2025 campaign in that position, before switching to the No.5 and No.3 berths over the course of the campaign.
Dan Thompson will don the No.1 when the new season gets underway in the spring, with strong backup expected from the rest of the team.
Australian Sedgmen was announced as the third Monarch to sign on the dotted line, joining Thompson and compatriot Jordy Loftus in committing their futures to racing at Armadale in 2026.
