FIVE SHOPS IN MABLETHORPE AND SUTTON ON SEA TARGETED BY POLICE AND COUNCIL

LARGE quantities of counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco have been found inside a store in Mablethorpe. Lincolnshire Police and Lincolnshire County Council visited five shops and food outlets across Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe.
On Wednesday, April 30, visits were carried out at several businesses, during which the legal status and right to work of staff members in the shops were checked whilst officers searched for illicit tobacco.
At The Victoria Road Store, Victoria Road in Mablethorpe, a man was found to be illegally working in the shop. Immigration workers will be following up on this.
