Jack joins food and farm team

Jack Marshall, pictured inset, has joined Savills' food and farming team as an associate food and farming consultant in the Dumfries office.

Savills said his appointment reflecting the firm's “continued expansion in response to evolving industry needs and growing client demand” and bolsters its ability to support clients in navigating Scotland’s transformative agricultural policy changes.

The new framework - focused on sustainable farming, combating climate change and enhancing biodiversity - introduces requirements such as carbon audits, biodiversity audits and soil analysis as conditions for payments.
