A collection of uplifting art works by a local mental health and suicide prevention campaigner volunteer is on display at DGRI.

The art is reflective of Frank Richie's love of art and music, and his experience volunteering and campaigning for local and national charities.
Frank, who in his role as an NHS volunteer, provides musical entertainment for patients, staff and visitors at two of the region's hospitals (DGRI and Midpark) took up an opportunity to share a message of hope and healing through the exhibition - The Art of Giving.
The collection also includes a unique stand out piece, a poignant memory of his son Alan, 31, who he lost in 2015.
The exhibition is part of NHS Dumfries and Galloway's Art in Healthcare programme.
