Schools unite for Triennial art project

FIVE Folkestone schools are working together on Stride - a major animated art project involving more than 3,000 pupils and staff - for this summer's Creative Folkestone Triennial and Folkestone Fringe.

The participating schools Folkestone Academy, Turner Free School, Folkestone Primary, Morehall Primary, and Martello Primary - are all part of the Turner Schools trust, which has organised the project as its contribution to the Triennial.

The animation will be made up of thousands of individual frames, each one hand-decorated by a student or staff member.

Together, these frames will form a continuous walk cycle - a powerful symbol of unity, identity, and shared momentum.
