Rapist locked up for six years after attack on teenage boy as he walked home

A YOUNG paedophile raped a teenage boy in a Derbyshire park as the victim walked home from a fair before going on to sexually abuse a second teenager months later.

A trial at Nottingham Crown Court heard how Anthony Lanchester grabbed the first boy and dragged him to a secluded area where he raped him.

After that incident and while he was on bail, the 20-year-old carried out a sexual attack on the second boy in a different park.

Sending him to a young offender’s institution for six-and-a-half years, Judge Mark Watson said: "I have read the first victim's impact statement.
