KYRAN Lofthouse says he wants to add more goals to his game after he scored his first for Burton Albion in the entertaining 2-2 draw away against Rotherham United on Tuesday night.

- By DAN NEWBOULD

The Brewers were denied all three points by a late leveller in the League One clash but one positive was definitely the performance and finish of Lofthouse as he rose highest to head home a Charlie Webster corner and give Albion the lead.

And Lofthouse revealed that Brewers head coach Gary Bowyer has been encouraging him to get on the scoresheet more often.

“I always try and give my all and hopefully people can see that,” said Lofthouse.

“It was a great moment for me to score my first goal for the club. I am delighted for that.

“Ever since I've come here, everyone has been brilliant with me. The fans have been brilliant with me so I want to repay them by contributing to goals.

“I've got to score more. I know it. The gaffer always says it to me.
