A DERBYSHIRE restaurant has delivered some “sad but exciting” news to its customers ahead of a big move that looks to combine the brains and successes of two popular businesses.

Four years after emerging on Swadlincote's Market Street, Five at Delph at The Delph Centre looks to close its doors for the final time in May but the dark cloud prompted by the word ‘closure’ comes with a reassuring silver lining.
The small restaurant has gained a strong reputation in the town since opening in 2021, earning a strong 4.9/5-star rating from more than 70 Google Reviews, many of which praise the restaurant's quirky setting and warming atmosphere.
Five at Delph will become Five at the Hood, relocating 10 minutes down the road to The Robin Hood pub in Overseal.
