TYLA rocked the boat at her Coachella debut with a tribute to Aaliyah.
The “pretty girl from Joburg” made her first ever appearance at the popular music festival in California at the weekend.
And she didn’t disappoint with her show on Friday’s opening night as she shared the stage with the likes of headliners Lady Gaga and Missy Elliott.
But it was South African “it girl’ Tyla who made the headlines with her Aaliyah tribute. Performing her hit On and On, Tyla used the late American singer's R&B classic Rock the Boat as a backing track.
