Mother left shattered after shooters kill her son, 20, and leave four other men wounded
A MOTHER from Lotus River has been left shattered after her 20-year-old son was shot and killed while standing inside his yard yesterday morning.
Five men between the ages of 20 and 72 years – believed to be innocent – were targeted by a random attack yesterday morning in 5th Avenue, Lotus River, when unknown gunmen pulled up in a vehicle and started opening fire.
Among the five men, four were injured, while 20-year-old Shuaib Davids was declared deceased on the scene.
A heartbroken Gaynor Grundman said her son Shuaib was standing in the front yard as her 60-year-old boyfriend was coming into the house when they both got shot.
