McKenzie claims he called off strike on podcast hosts

MINISTER of Sports, Arts and Culture of South Africa Gayton McKenzie says he called off mense threatening the Open Chats podcast hosts.

McKenzie's Patriotic Alliance filed criminal charges against Open Chats hosts Mthokozisi Methula and Sinothando Kama following their racist remarks aimed at the coloured community last week.

The hosts had made remarks saying that coloured people are "incestuous" and "crazy".

Now he claims that the Open Chats podcasters' lives were threatened but that he called off those who were issuing threats.
