Taxi bosses fear more bloodshed after nog'n deadly Delft shooting
VIOLENCE: Second shooting in Delft inside two weeks
FEARS of a brewing taxi war are creeping in after yet another taxi-related skietery resulted in the murder of a Cape Organisation for the Democratic Taxi Association (Codeta) taxi guard yesterday morning in Delft.
Delft police were called to the corner of Orange and Hindle Road in Leiden around 6am, where they found the body of a 31-year-old taxi guardjie riddled with bullets.
The driver was shot in the chest and right arm and transported to a medical facility for treatment.
Nceba Enge, chairperson of Codeta, confirmed that the victims belong to their taxi organisation.
